I went to the Rapid City Catholic Newman Center and it was my home away from home! I met my closest friends there! Every Sunday they had a home cooked meal for us to eat and converse over before mass and it was like creating a family away at school! Not only that but it was a safe place to learn, explore, and discover more about the faith. The Newman center and focus missionaries would put on fun events, like hiking with outdoor mass, s’mores, open mic night, and game night! My friends and I hosted catholic trivia a few times! Honestly there was so much content and events like SEEK that got everyone on fire for the faith and wanting more!

We love that our daughter has a “home away from home” at the Newman Center. Whether it be cooking in the kitchen with friends, swing dancing, or participating in an athlete’s bible study, we are happy that she has found a place she can integrate her faith with her campus life. We can see that the Newman Center has been instrumental in finding her a family on campus and we are so grateful!
